As noted, New Japan Pro Wrestling officials announced on Saturday (November 28th) that former IWGP Champion AJ Styles suffered an undisclosed injury and would not be able to compete at Saturday’s event. In an update, Styles was forced out of the event with a lower back injury (sciatic nerve issue). The injury is the same injury that Styles was dealing with in October. He is scheduled to wrestle Jay Lethal at next month's’ ROH Final Battle PPV. Source: Enuhito
