According to WWE.com, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin is retired from active competition. WWE ran a feature on how past wrestlers have “said good-bye,” linking up with NBA star Kobe Bryant announcing his retirement recently. Austin’s retirement match was against The Rock at WrestleMania 19. It was not billed as his retirement match at the time, but it was Austin’s last match. Austin has stated recently that his days in the ring as an active competitor are over.
